In Tsukuba, we have set up a section where people with hard hearing can casually ask questions and answer questions about space in sign language, and we are implementing a project where sign language tour participants with they can have fun and learn about JAXA's projects and space science.
Toward promoting JAXA's diversity measures
In 2024, not only Sagamihara and Tsukuba, but also a sign language tour will be held at a special open at the Misasa Deep Space station in Nagano prefecture, and the Japan Society for Aeronautical and Space Sciences, which is scheduled to be held in Hyogo prefecture, is also tentatively implementing SDGs, and within JAXA We are going to introduction the attempt that we are using to enable hard hearing employees to work energetically.
