Efforts at JAXA Field Centers

We are tasked with achieving targets related to waste reduction (Goal 12), climate change (Goal 13), and the global environment (Goal 14 and 15).
All JAXA field centers process and dispose of wastes using appropriate measures in compliance with law. These facilities are also working to promote more effective use of resources through the implementation of 3R (reduce, reuse, and recycle) approaches. In addition, we are working to improve efficiency of energy use, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and to appropriately manage chemicals so as to prevent pollution of soil and water.
